Pennant leader board:
OWEN Bowling Club held its Men’s Fours Tournament
on Tuesday January 21, with 12 teams entering. These
consisted of a mix of local teams and some as far away as
Bowlers were greeted with perfect weather and a well-

sitting down to a big seafood feast.
Two more games of 10 ends were played, scores tallied
and winners decided.
Greg Tucker’s team from Mallala were too good on
the day, with second place going to John Hill’s team from
Gawler and third place to Owen Chapman’s Balaklava
A great day was had by all with lots of positive calls
thanking the Owen Bowling Club on a very successful day.
The club thanks all members and helpers who put in a stel-
lar effort to run such a brilliant day.
THE Wooroora Women’s Championship Pairs were played in great
spirit on January 20 and 21 at Mallala.
The competition was tough, but Mallala were out right winners with
the Hamley Bridge team coming in runner-up.
